Kwanzan cherry typically has very profuse, dark pink flowers and they start appearing around April. Leaves come on shortly after and emerge bronze-red before changing to dark green. The deciduous serrated leaves eventually turn yellow-orange in autumn. Flowering cherries prefer moist, well-drained fertile soils in full sun to part shade. Trees may be short lived in Northern climates. Kwanzan cherries have become very popular landscaping trees in part due to the donation from Japan to Washington D.C. in 1912.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"TimberPine","offers":[{"title":"1.5\"","offer_id":48238489010425,"sku":"CHEKWA015150","price":399.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0800\/4435\/9929\/files\/Cherry_Kwanzan__84851.1769122758.386.513.jpg?v=1775332844","url":"https:\/\/shop.timberpine.com\/products\/cherry-kwanzan","provider":"TimberPine","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
