Gladiator™ crabapple has a narrow, upright form that, in spring, produces fragrant magenta flowers that are born out of rose colored buds. Foliage is a rich burgundy that turns a golden yellow color in autumn against purple-red fruits. Crabapples prefer well-drained, average soils in full sun and can be more tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions in maturity. Attracts wildlife.
