Dwarf Korean lilacs are beloved midwestern shrubs for their lack of effort on the gardener's part, dependability, and carefree attitude when blooming. Shrubs are broad in maturity and are covered in small clusters of pink, lightly fragrant flowers in spring. Dark green leaves are wavy and elliptical and cover the plant throughout the growing season. Dwarf Korean lilacs prefer moist, well-drained soils in full sun though will tolerate a wide range of site conditions (drought, erosion, dry soils, etc.). No serious insect or disease issues and they are not susceptible to powdery mildew like their cousins. This is the tree form of the dwarf Korean lilac.
