Around March or April, 'Drummond's Pink' shines with masses of pink, star-like blossoms against tufts of semi-evergreen, needle-like foliage. They make great border plants along paths, rocks, ledges, and other places where small plants are desired. Creeping phlox does best in full sun in average, well-drained soils. For a secondary bloom period and cleaner looking mounds, phlox can be cut back by half after flowering. Flowers of 'Drummond's Pink' are larger and more floriferous than 'Emerald Pink'.
