Developed from plant material from a Chicago garden, this pollinator favorite can provide year-round interest. Spring brings gleaming foliage followed in summer by the globe-shaped flower clusters in shades of lilac pink. As the blossoms subside, the dried seed heads add texture and interest to the autumn and winter gardens. Plants can be slow to establish but generally begin spreading after three years. Plant en masse or in groups of three or five.
