Almost every Midwest gardener knows that summers would not be complete without one or more varieties of coneflower. They're extremely easy to care for: adaptable to most soil types provided it is well-drained, tolerant of drought, poor soils, heat and humidity, and can grow in either full sun or part shade. The 4½" fuchsia pink flowers of ‘The Fuchsia Is Bright’ are made of overlapping, horizontally held petals for an exceptionally showy display. The dark cone and stems of the plant contrast with the brightness of the petals, accentuating the vibrancy of the flowers. Exceptional garden performance. Plants are relatively disease, insect, and deer resistant apart from aster yellows disease.
