'Mount Airy' fothergilla is valued for its multi-season interest; fragrant flowers in the spring, leathery medium green foliage in the summer, and a varied vibrant fall color. It is adorned in feathery, tower-like blooms in cream colored tones and smell like honey. By autumn, it turns varying shades of orange, yellow, and red/purple.
